@snowcone If you live in the US you might be able to receive accommodations for depression with a doctor's diagnosis which would allow you to skip class without consequence when you're too weighed down to attend. I do this through my university's accessibility center (for disabled students). Might be worth looking into if you feel you need the flexibility, but if you're like me, skipping too much will just make it harder, even with the granted flexibility.
