@snowcone @wafers Binaural beats are really really good for some pretty cool dreams if you can fall asleep wearing headphones

@eightbyte My dreams are twisted enough and make me question what goes on in my brain enough already.

@snowcone I don't like the words Tulpa and forcing in the same sentence. Sounds bad. I thought that forming a tulpa was supposed to be slow/methodical, right?
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:21:40 UTC from web-
@rarity Tulpa forcing is what people call like, making a tulpa. its not really, the best term.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:22:18 UTC from web-
@eightbyte Either way I don't eff with that stuff. Sure I'd love to have a pony friend but there are so many things that can put you in the psych ward. Too risky.

@rarity I tried making a tulpa my subconscious instead of making a tulpa decided this was its que to start mentally tormenting me at all waking hours.

@eightbyte and refuse to allow me to sleep for more than 30 minutes
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:24:40 UTC from web -
@eightbyte yeah.... it's bad.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:26:06 UTC from web-
@rarity But thats a rather rare thing. I think it happened to me because of my extreme emotional state at the time.

@snowcone @wafers And thatt. I tried making a tulpa. my brain was....not not happy with that and retaliated with making me exhausted but unable to sleep. Terrible.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:21:47 UTC from web -
@snowcone I see.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:23:49 UTC from web -
@snowcone I know the exhaustion was a side effect. I got into it after one of my friends started talking about them, and I started reading about them and they sounded very interesting.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:26:10 UTC from web -
@snowcone Okay, I'll bite. Tulpa?
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:26:18 UTC from web-
@neurario a tulpa is... essentially a "real" imaginary friend. You construct a personality and essentially make another mind in your brain, and the "friend" part is there is a visual manifestation that represents the personality. the personality is essentially real, in that it thinks independently from you. However, it knows everything you know, sees only what you see, etc.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:28:36 UTC from web-
@rarity ...I said "essentially" 3 times in that paragraph.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:29:42 UTC from web -
@rarity Hmmm. Sounds familiar.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:31:09 UTC from web-
@neurario people talk about them all the time on the internet. It's a freaking AWESOME concept. But a lot of things can go wrong. Not to mention that your brain is overworking, because there are two "people" in it. I don't want to mess with it. I wish it was safer...

@snowcone Oh yeah. I remember reading that tulpae are good study buddies, /if/ the tulpa wants to help.
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:31:06 UTC from web -
@snowcone How would one go about creating a tulpa?
Tuesday, 05-Mar-13 06:31:34 UTC from web -
@snowcone Still too dangerous.
