I'm seeing little shoutouts to Pony in the weirdest places. A web design magazine I was reading at the bookstore earlier today used an image of Rainbow Dash's cutie mark to illustrate the difference between raster images and vector images.

@wafers I wouldn't say that, it's just that vector art has more consistent quality and is many times more common

@wafers even if it were a very small percentage, the sheer volume of fan art means there will be ample raster digital art. Due to how far advanced vector art has become I grant it's sometimes difficult to tell whether certain art is raster-based or whether it has simply had a texture applied after being vectored (which then arguably doesn't make it purely vector art in many cases). http://www.deviantart.com/art/My-Little-Pony-FIM-266313611
