@purplephish20 Given that Game chose to bill me, then cancel my preorder on launch day, I specifically chose NOT to give them my money again.

@ceruleanspark Whoops... Grainger games, you heard of them? Not sure if theyre really local to notts/yorkshire, theyre a pretty good retailer, not bull**** with them... Plus I saved like £30 getting a brand new 3DS from them as opposed to Game

@rotation Last game I bought brand new was Halo 4 at the midnight launch, got a special tin box just for going down at midnight, which was nice, and aside from the pre order bonuses I got a 48 hour XBL trial... which is nice....

@purplephish20 Given 343s apparent love for antagonizing their fanbase, I'm sure the "exclusive" preorder bonuses will show up "By mistake" in a map pack download sooner or later.

@purplephish20 and 343 would apologise and say that "In the name of fairness, now that some map pack downloaders have them, they have to give them to everyone". Then they'd go for a swim in a giant pool of money.

@ceruleanspark I much prefer the DMR or of course, the lightrifle, I bloody love all the promethean weapons except for the pistol, which I feel is useless. I hated the Suppressor at first, but now I love it... By assault rifle I mean the short burst rifle with a scope, its good for taking out Knights with headshots

@purplephish20 The burst firing one is the Battle Rifle. The assault rifle is the fully automatic one.

@purplephish20 Incidentally, the promethean pistol, the boltshot, was, until the last patch, the single most powerful loadout weapon in the game.

@ceruleanspark The issue I had with it was that I cant bloody hit anything with it, its so innacurate. With recoil that just makes it useless. The suppressor I just thought was underpowered compared to other things, but you can take out a knight battle-wagon out in seconds if you just aim for the head, and it goes through crawlers faster than a weed-whacker cuts through dandelions
