Here's to hoping I'm not suicidal again tomorrow (◡‿◡✿)

@yodelerty If you're feeling suicidal just start a lathe with the adjusting tool still on the plate. I guarantee you'll be so scared of death from doing it you won't even think of suicide.
-
@nerthos I like my method better: going to the doctor on Monday and getting him to prescribe me antidepressants.
-
@yodelerty what's the story? I've been suicidal before. Well, not that I'm not still, I mean, maybe there's something in my experience that might help you out a bit
-
@yodelerty That's not as fun! The adjusting tool flies FAST. Like break a head FAST.
-
@clash A combination of over-inflated jealousy and fear of losing a friend. It's not really going away but I'm trying not to think about it until Monday.
-
@nerthos But drugs not... lathes, man! That's how that saying goes!
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@yodelerty Just think of the FAST.
-
@nerthos Fast like Sanic.
-
@yodelerty Good! I'm glad you're doing the right thing. I'll try to be on Skype if you want to talk tomorrow... or whenever. #Hugsqueeze.
-
@yodelerty I'd almost want to see if you could get put on a weak depressant, if you can have a spotter nearby to ensure you survive, but the idea would be that the bounce-back from a depressive would keep you on a natural high longer, and train your body to ... well, bounce back from depression.
-
@tenebarius Thanks, man. You're the best. :D #hugs
-
(cont'd) it's something I was considering doing for myself, going on depressants so my depression in normal-state is reduced.
-
@clash Yeah, I don't have any friends so I wouldn't really have a spotter. Besides, if I wanted a depressant I'd take up drinking. Thanks for the advice anyway, though. I'll just get the antidepressant because my depression is interfering with my schoolwork so I need a quickfix.

@yodelerty all I can really say is that IME, life is a sensory overload, and a lot of it leans on the sad side. Just knowing that a way to end it all exists, is actually kind of reassuring, and gives me the drive to see what I really can do in this life, helps me let go of things that I can't hold onto, and helps me hold onto things that other people might let go of. It helps me put off rushing into whatever lies beyond, and let me gain some more experience in this messed-up place before trying for a better run in wherever I go next, if there's even a place to go next after this.
-
@clash That's a very positive way of looking at things which is a nice change from the negativity and cynicism in this world.
-
@yodelerty I'd like to think that there's a natural force of sorts that plays the role of a tree or liver, taking negative energies and cleansing, rejuvenating them. Society could certainly use such a thing, no?
-
@clash That they could.
