    14. @thepavilionman Granny Smith is like, 400 years old. We did the maths once.

Saturday, 30-Mar-13 14:56:16 UTC from web
    15. @thepavilionman Apparently their lifespans are in the order of the half millenia. Well, at least when they make it to old, which is not too ofter it seems.

Saturday, 30-Mar-13 14:59:57 UTC from web
    16. @thepavilionman They have efficient life cycles. It takes them a couple years to reach maturity, and then they stay at an adult stage for hundreds of years.

Saturday, 30-Mar-13 15:06:53 UTC from web
    17. @thepavilionman As long as they're able to restrain from having lots of progeny, such a lifespan leads to highly skilled and specialized individuals who excell at their tasks, therefore allowing an efficient society.

Saturday, 30-Mar-13 15:11:41 UTC from web
    18. @thepavilionman I'd sacrifice much for a greatly extended lifespan. And I'd probably never have progeny.
