  1. I think the thing I like about Princess Celestia as a character is she is a royal character who is almost always doing something. It's evident she really has no time off, just extended breaks. She handles incidents in cities that need it (fillydelpha's infestation got her direct intervention.) and generally acts like a real soverign, yet she is still very unambiguously feminine. Most active royal characters are either men or masculine women. Celestia manages to be both a strong, active leader, and feminine.

      1. @sparkyvelt her own SISTER tried to take over the whole place, refused to negotiate, and by fausts own admission, if celestia did nothing, all of equestria would have starved because all the crops would die. she did what she did because in the end, her people were more important.

          1. @sparkyvelt any story can sound like any other story with enough stretching of the telling.

    2. @abigpony seriously? I mean it's a funny joke but I really don't like that fan interpretation when taken seriously.

    3. @abigpony uhh, no, when she visited ponyville, she had to leave early on business. the other time she had to go save fillydelphia, at the gala she was required to greet guests as a formality rather than do what she wanted to do...

      1. @adrianbrony original is good, but distortion is funnier. Anyway, celestia is truly a good princess...
