  1. Is it me or was everything in the Wreck It Ralph trailers shown to viewers of the movie inside the first 20 or so minutes?

    1. @ceruleanspark I'm pretty sure that if they showed parts from later it would have spoiled the hell out of it

      1. @rarity To elaborate: the stuff in the first 20 minutes of the movie feels like it was only put into the movie itself so that they could use that footage in the trailers when it isn't really representative of the film as a whole.

        1. @ceruleanspark oh, I get you. Definitely they front loaded the movie with game references.

          1. @rarity I can't believe I didn't have that movies "twist" spoiled for me.

            1. @ceruleanspark It genuinely surprised me. I heard my brother say "Holy apples" in the seat next to me

              1. @rarity Yeah. I also swore out loud. Frontloading aside, it was a pretty good movie.

                1. @ceruleanspark Very good. I need to see it again

        2. @ceruleanspark Not really. Ralph definitely needed a motive to leave his game or the movie would've made no sense.

          1. @redenchilada I was talking more about the way the trailers present it as a "Movie about videogames" when really it's more of a movie in which videogames provide a mostly irrelevant backdrop to the things that happen.
