    I had to turn the plugin that sends "Updates from your network" off because it was sending out updates once every 5 minutes containing 200 odd notices a time

        @redenchilada Widget. It's tied to a cronjob, but I can't find which users cron the command is in to reduce the frequency, so I've just disabled it for now.

          @ceruleanspark Ah. (Is there a user option to disable it? I like the idea and can see its use but I kinda don't need emails telling me what I just saw on the site)
