@ceruleanspark Fire Emblem is not that bad. Now and then the AI does what you mentioned, but still you can always use one of the OP characters to wipe the enemy out, at the expense of a little experience.

@nerthos From peoples generally positive responses to the new one I gather a lot of the more tedious crap has been removed from the game.

@ceruleanspark So it seems. I still have to finish the first one and the GC one. The GC one is particularly challenging because I messed up the leveling (first one I played), and I'm at the last stage with only a couple strong characters.

@ceruleanspark No, in the last fire emblem you marry characters and get their children as playable heroes later on, and they're apparently pretty strong. Don't remind me of disgaea, I lost a lot of progress once and haven't played ever since.
