  1. Are "balloon shards" a common term? I always called what remains after they're broken "bits" because they're still things with uses, and not exactly sharp or dangerous. Though I do suppose the edges are technically kinda pointy, usually. Unless they're overinflated, in which case they tend to shead. Hrm... Anyway, I only ask because I just saw someone else use the term today.
