I think I have to resort to buy a new telephone somewhere next week, depending on if my current phone survives the run-in with the water ( the thing was submerged for about half a second or so ) I think the speaker is busted... Does anypony know what to replace my I9001 with ?

@critialcloudkicker have you tried taking the battery out, and leaving it in a bag of rice? the rice'll soak up all the water and wahtnot.

@flamingpandaomg Hmm, rice you say ? that makes sense, I guess I will keep it on top of the decoder ( semi warm ) for now, and put it in a bag of rice as soon as I go to bed, thanks for the tip

@critialcloudkicker always welcome. ^^ it's what I used to dry out my phone. Just leave it in overnight, over an entire day if possible. It takes a while for the rice to work, but it has for me perfectly.

@pony Samsung Galaxy I take ? Does the 4 not have a keypad ? what do you mean ?

@critialcloudkicker yeah. SGS 3 & 4 have only touchscreen input. Maybe you can get a peripheral device for the SGS4 though since it's apparently supposed to be able to support things like that.

@ceruleanspark When will laser keyboards become standard? http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-57560963-1/galaxy-s4-imagine-it-impossibly-thin-with-laser-keyboard/

@pony standard? No idea. I've seen Bluetooth laser keyboards that work pretty well, but they have abysmal battery life.
