!bronylon Informal survey regarding a possible meetup; What day(s) of the week works best for everypony? If we can narrow it down, then it'll be easier for me to set up. Also, I haven't said anything for a while because I was waiting to see if more London Bronies would show. Since they haven't, I'll start working with those of you who are here =D

@tenmihara I don't think there are many bronys in the area. I have seen a AJ figure still in the box in a assorted pony bag at Talize.

@vitazu Got 8 bronies registered on the group, although one of them is in Strathroy. I just figured that a small group from a (relatively) small city might still want local meetups so they don't have to travel crazy far

@vitazu Do you still have Tuesdays off? I'm off work tomorrow and still haven't been able to get ahold of anybrony else yet. I was hoping to meet someone else for the purpose of coordinating more than I can do on my own.

@tenmihara i have not met or heard of any others ether. I have converted a friend of mine and a friend of his.

@vitazu Indeed; although expecting any huge crowds her in London might be asking a lot. I fully expect Toronto to become the Southwestern Ontario Brony Hub

@vitazu Not familiar with him/her. As I recall, one of the bronies who joined the group on here was from Strathroy.

@tenmihara Oh, I see. I have thinking about going to Fanexpo this year. mostly for the comic stuff. I am hopeing there might be a meet up there, at least cosplayers. Hasbro will have a presence.

@vitazu keep forgetting about Fanexpo; I usually just stick to Anime North myself. Don't have my own transportation, so I have to hitch a ride or take the bus, which can be frustrating all on its own.

@tenmihara yeah transportation is mainly the issue, plus the lodging if a friend hopefully wants to do and we want to do a day or do.

@vitazu last couple times I went to AN I went for the whole weekend; put myself up at a hotel (one of the perks of consistent employment lol). Problem was that I booked too late and the hotel I stayed at was a good half hour walk from the con center, making back and forth excruciating under the weight of my gear and merch

@tenmihara Icks that really sucks. I think i will be cutting it close then when it comes to the hotel now. but will see what happens.

@vitazu VGCats. Scott's comic of the CMC getting crushed by the stage was my first exposure to the ponies. After that, it pretty much snowballed. Saw a few meme images, then checked out the pilot. By the next week I had the entire series (up to episode 23, the one from that same week), and most of Eurobeat Brony's remixes on my ipod. I find that when I get into somethign I like, I tend to want as much of it as possible =P

@tenmihara my first exposure was VGkats as well. the one with pinkie pie as a characters PC wallpaper. but at the time i was busy with NaNoWriMo and other things that it slipped by mind. I didn't really notice pony's again till a comment post of pinkies pies laugh song was posed on as a response to the mother of the creator of dead space was laughing at the game play footage contrast to the marketing campaign of the game that had 'mothers' scared to death of it. the rest of the comment posted where from bronys who also posted meme images. my interest as peeked again, and i first watched some PMV before discovering that he episodes where all online. i watched them all till over a barrel at that point. downloaded the popular songs and even images. which frankly is the first time i have had a large image archive of anything that i have been intersted in

@vitazu Very spiffy. Now, if I might indulge my own curiosity; where abouts in the city do you work? I wash dishes at a restaurant called 'The Morrisey House' myself, although I've begun learning how to cook a few things.
