@bitshift They're elastized cotton work gloves with steel plates riveted to them, easy-to-make non restrictive plate gauntlets. I can type and do simple tricks with my sword with them on. (I haven't used woolen gloves in a looong time. Never liked how they felt.) http://ur1.ca/dsev9

@bitshift They took me about four days of work, even though I cut the plates back in 2010. I'd be working on the rest of the armor now if not for the sudden cold.
