@flamingpandaomg It's basically a cartridge with an SD card on it. You load roms in there.

@nerthos couldn't I just put the ROMs on my SD card that's already in my 3DS? Or is it specifically needed to be in the cartridge slot?

@flamingpandaomg The r4 basically lets you put any rom into it. Old GB emulators, DS, DSi, 3ds, whatever you want.

@nerthos Then you're either doing odd-jobs off to the side, getting money from friends/family, or some other methos. Either way you've either got a side source of money, or you're technically employed because you're doing a service for money.

@nerthos Yeah, I have /no/ source of income. My parents are supporting me until I'm financially stable again, so I have no way of buying things I want. Otherwise I'd be swimming in pones and everything else.

@nerthos Not very much that I'm actually capable of doing off the top of my head. I used to charge the neighbors (all elderly, living off social security) for virus removal / file backup, but I felt bad because everybody around here is having a hard enough time living as is.

@nerthos ...... no, not particularly. I work pretty often in GIMP, but I'm nowhere good enough at anything with it to even consider charging for it. Other than that? No, I'm literally unskilled in every way shape and form.

@flamingpandaomg You should consider learning a craft. Go to your local library once a week, pick a book on a craft, and start learning. Things like working on wood can be practiced with pretty much no investment.

@ceruleanspark We could form a crime syndicate. You can be the tech expert. I'll be the gadgets guy and heist planner. We just need a reckless driver and a muscle guy.

@nerthos I'm a reckless driver too. It's funny actually, combined hacker and getaway driver is actually the role my fursona played back in the day.

@ceruleanspark But the main problem there is, unless we get one of those surveillance vans with wireless communications and a lot of money in assorted tech, the tech guy is useless in the car. The getaway driver must wait in the car driving around, but the tech guy must enter the building with the other two to disarm alarms and crack passwords. On the plus side, you're becoming an imaginary fox in real life.

@nerthos I'm pretty sure "he" inspired me to seek out the skills I have to be honest. I don't know if that's lame or what.

@ceruleanspark Well setting up an imaginary fox as a role model (To whom we'll reffer as "Rufio" for the remaining of this post) to get the inspiration to get stuff done is better than just not doing anything and then lamenting of how useless you are. As weird as it might be, you're better off than many. Rufio, in all his hairy glory, helped you become someone.
