    1. @neurario Did you know that Devil Dice is written to be entirely resident in the PSX's RAM, with the CD only being read for redbook audio?

      1. @ceruleanspark I actually didn't. I was much much younger when I first played the demo of Devil Dice. But I thought it was such a cool concept for a puzzle game that I wanted to play it again.

        1. @neurario It was written by a hobbyist on sony's obscure hobbyist dev platform, the Net Yaroze, which allowed games be transferred into the units RAM via serial cable, imposing a maximum executable size limit of 2mb, the amount of RAM in the unit. I know this because I have been lusting after a Yaroze for YEARS.
