          @therainbowdashx @humbletraveller I say 7-zip is better for the simple reason of Open Source. Proprietary stuff is silly. Especially if it becomes nagware like WinRar does if you don't crack it.

          @nerthos it might be, but i don't support companies that withhold a file type just to make money. (the only reason you cant .rar stuff in anything but Winrar is because money.)

            @techdisk Well companies make money. That's why they exist. People work for money, and sell their product. Since they made the .rar file format, they're entitled to decide what is to be done with it.
