@nerthos You know that armour has no protection against impact, suffocation, drowning, and a negative bonus against overheating right ? ... but on the plus side of things... You do not get bitten... As if you had to be worried about that

@critialcloudkicker Against a full set of armor that doesn't allow biting and is properly cushioned and measured for your body? No. The snake will only make it slightly more difficult to breathe, whilst the warhammer will completely deform the armor and crush your ribs.

@nerthos You do know that snakes have an unbelievable crushing power right ? I doubt that you could tailor an anti-snacke-crushing-armour... Unless if you made the armour in such a way that it would kill the snake.

@nerthos I think that if you take the crushing force in Newton of a warhammer being swung by a minotaur is about the same crushing-snake force as being hugged by a body-builder who does not know his own strength *2... And nobody died from hugs as far as I know

@critialcloudkicker It is only lethal if it has enough strenght to deform the plates. That is, of course, if the chestplate is designed to properly distribute the effort. If there's just a gap in the sides, the snake WILL kill you.

@nerthos If you properly distribute all of the effort, Possibly, But I still say that given enough time and effort on the snake's side you will succumb to either; not enough air, not enough water, or not enough food.

@nerthos Snakes like the Boa Constrictor have absolutely NO difficulty to keep the strain on for that long, or even longer, and the ammount of force they can generate goes up to roughly 500 strong body builder hugs I read once

@flamingpandaomg It was not really a scientific book or anything. Still how would you measure it ? ... Put a piece of ham next to a boa constrictor and then sample the ham to see how chewy it became ?
