  1. bloody 'ell. Watched Star Trek Generations. As a kid I was like "ermagerd love this movie!" Then as an adult I'm like "woah. You're telling me that in five seconds a missle can leave a planet's atmosphere, travel all the way to the closest star, blow up that star, AND people on the planet's surface can see the results of that explosion instantaneously afterward, followed by darkness in the following five seconds? While in reality it takes EIGHT MINUTES for light to reach Earth from the Sun? Really? Really?"
