  1. @leonkfox just found out some interesting wrestling news. there were 2 factors involved in CM Punk's rehiring to the WWE. first was that up until the day of his match, he really DID want to leave and was tired of the business. 2nd was him talking to trips and vince that if their match did well, and got the attention it deserved, that he might be willing to come back. Dave Meltzer rated it 5 stars. Something that the WWE hasn't had since 97. in almost 14 years, there hasn't been a 5 star match by Meltzer until then. Over the course of the week, they decided on a new contract, because of that rating. I feel it was deserving of 5 stars as it told the best story between 2 individuals I'd seen in MANY years. It was a classic, likening it to steamboat savage for how well the crowd was into it, the story in the ring, and just the intensity of it. It's one of the best matches I've ever seen and I'm glad that punk is back because of it.

    1. @delc17 Wow, where did you hear this from? I thought that whole thing with CM Punk potentially leaving WWE with the WWE Title was just a work, and that he had remained under contract with them this whole time!
