  1. I was taught to think of computers like idiots. A computer only ever does exactly what it is told to. nothing more, nothing less. if it's not doing what you want it to now, and it used to do exactly what you wanted it to every time, it's your fault. yeah, it seems obvious, but you would be surprised at how many people don't realise this.

    1. @snowcone it's only your fault if the computer originally did what you wanted out of the box. flawed software is flawed software.

    2. @techdisk ironically i learned the say philosophy. the computer will only do what it is told but what you tell it may not be what you want!
