Today I found a guy and a girl defacing a wall with spraypaint, while I was walking home with my brother. I walked towards them and in my best magnificent FrankerZ*d voice I said to my brother "Gabriel, should I call the police?" so the guy turned towards me and tried to sound threatening, asked me what I wanted. So I laughed at him and called the police, and then resumed what I was doing. I wonder if they catched the two vermin. I hope the cops gave them a good beating.

@nerthos Srupid dog. I meant "illegitimate son"

@awlderpy Haha, no, he wanted to look tough in front of his girlfriend. If he wanted to start a fight I would have put my knife against his throath and he would have peed himself. Personally I would have given him a beating and covered him in spraypaint as a lesson of respect for other people's property, but law doesn't let me.

@awlderpy Word. It's a damn shame. Modern society needs some more smacking. I should start carrying around my telescopic sword again. It's not very useful in an actual fight but it's scary enough for those vermin when I draw two at the same time and walk towards them.

@awlderpy I carried a dai-katana on me a couple times, around the backstreets here. Current laws won't allow me to carry something as big as a bayonnete though. The telescopic swords are legal, so I can carry them wherever I want. At 25 I'll get a license to carry weapons and start carrying an espada ropera on me.

@nertsounds that sounds like something I would do

@justsomeloser The key to carrying the katana is having an excuse.
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 03:54:55 UTC from web-
@nerthos you can carry around a katana in your back yard

@awlderpy Yep. Guns might be deadly, yes, but they're neither as impressive nor capable of damage as a sword. They also don't give you any defensive ability, so if someone gets close to you with a stick or whatever, the gun won't be of much use.
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 03:54:05 UTC from web -
@awlderpy Yep. And in any case, shooting someone isn't nearly as impressive as running someone through with a blade and stabing him twice before he touches the ground. If you have five guys trying to get you and you do that to one of them, 19 times out of 20 the other four will run away.
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 03:57:50 UTC from web -
@awlderpy Well I like to be sure. Two stabs are more deadly than one.
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 04:01:34 UTC from web -
@awlderpy Always better safe than sorry. It costs you nothing to hit twice with a sword.
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 04:06:58 UTC from web -
@awlderpy Shame we live so far from eachother. I would lve to practice with you.

@awlderpy i almost got into sword training once... then i quit my karate class, the guy was yelling at me, and only me, i was done with him
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 04:09:42 UTC from web -
@awlderpy That's the main issue with sword training. Finding people willing to practice.
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 04:11:49 UTC from web -
@awlderpy yeah but i was his best student o3o and i just couldnt remember the uh moves? i forgot what it was called its an assembly of moves formed to symbolize different tears and belts, i also couldnt remember them because i wasnt diagnosed with adhd yet, and i just couldnt focus

@awlderpy I like to keep myself dexterous with a blade. A gun jams, runs out of ammo, it's difficult to craft. A blade you can get easily and doesn't run out of ammo.

@nerthos blades do dullen and break eventully though
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 04:16:30 UTC from web-
@therainbowdashx Yeah, but it takes many years of intensive use for a good blade to become useless.

@nerthos what i like, is my dad sharpens the sharpest, without professional equipment, in fact this one guy went to show my dad his trick on closing knives, right after he sharpened it, and there was a single layer of skin cut in a spiral, didnt even notice, wich is expected, but still

@awlderpy I have a lot of knives, and like to practice with them too. They're one of the most versatile tools ever invented.
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 04:19:16 UTC from web -
@awlderpy You never know when you might need one. Get your clothes stuck in something, a splinter under your skin, or anything like that, and you're screwed without a knife.

@awlderpy I carry an automatic one on me all the time.
Thursday, 01-Aug-13 04:28:11 UTC from web -
@awlderpy Mine's a fold-in automatic. I like it because is faster than a normal foldable one.
