@pegasusjones Wow, bummer. I went skiing for a school trip a long time ago, but my parents weren't ever too keen on cold weather either, so I never got to ski again =(

@pegasusjones Lucky for me I had Canadian winters to grow up in. All the snow got shoveled to the end of the street into a giant mound, and I would climb it all day as a kid.

@pegasusjones I've been out west to Alberta, and the mountains there are absolutely breathtaking. Really made me think about how small us, as a species, are, in comparison to all the great things around.

@pegasusjones I know, right? My parents even wear Hawaiian shirts and have strapped on cameras when we go on vacation. It screams "tourist" in every way, and I can see people looking to rip them off as a result.

@pegasusjones My mom gets onto me because I never take pictures when I go somewhere with friends.

@pegasusjones I think it's really nice to experience things with my own senses. That's the same reason why I love concerts so much as well, you can't recreate that experience through pictures and video.

@pegasusjones I love photography, but as more of an art form than as a way to capture memories. I mean, I took this shot up at my friend's cottage just because the lighting was really neat. If you look closely, you can see a splash in the water from a stone I threw, and it's right where the sunlight is shining. http://ur1.ca/ezhsg

@pegasusjones Agreed. I was happy with the way that shot turned out as well, considering I took it on my phone. I had just been up early to do some fishing, and after viewing the light from that angle I couldn't help myself.
