@randomwonderbolt What I want to see is MS and Linux merge. When and if that ever happens, maybe then a reliable OS will appear

@randomwonderbolt If your upgrading from, say, windows 7 Home Premium to Professional, there's just a program already there called "windows anytime upgrade". If your looking to do this for free, I dunno. If your going from 7 to 8, firstly don't, but if you still want to, there are upgrade disks you can buy.
-
@randomwonderbolt Easy! It's probably a bit harder to find now with Microsoft pushing 8, but there are Windows vista to 7 upgrade disks available.

@randomwonderbolt http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-vista-to-windows-7#T1=tab01
-
@randomwonderbolt It costs some money. If you just want 7, anything above and including Home Premium is great. I personally use Professional, but that's only because my laptop came with it.
-
@randomwonderbolt Well, In Canadian Dollars, $120 for the Home Premium upgrade package on Newegg.
-
@techdisk (probably a little less in USD, but meh)
-
@randomwonderbolt ew
-
@randomwonderbolt trust me. Vista is terribad.
-
@techdisk Terribad is too nice of a word for it.
-
@techdisk but does it beat Windows ME?
-
@flamingpandaomg I agree
-
@biscuits no. Windows 8 does.
-
@biscuits I think I'd rather use ME than Vista.
-
@randomwonderbolt If you're looking to get away from Vista I'm sure I can help you downupgrade to XP.
-
@randomwonderbolt Alright. If you ever change your mind.
-
@vt3c @randomwonderbolt I've read up that Windows 8.1 is supposedly suppose to fix a bunch of issues with Win 8.
