@techdisk No no no no, I meant a real one, I'm having a flash flood in my apartment, I'm all alone, thunder is so loud it's startling, and the cookie jar has to be downstairs floating with my other stuff.

@techdisk Nope, closed it down for safety reasons. And I'm using a wi-fi internet as of the moment. My laptop is still up until 3 hours.

@techdisk No it's on a separate fuse thing. I don't know what it's called, I'm on the second floor with a different electricity connection from the pole.

@beatstrings Ah. That makes sense. I wish i had something like for my router when we had a huge storm in Toronto a while back. My street turned into a river. I came out lucky with a dry basement, but some people literally had a river overflow its banks straight into their front door.

@techdisk Sadly we have a great typhoon here in the tropical. My uncle rewired this for me for convenience. You know what? Give me that cookie, I rather have it than swimming on the dirty water to get the real one.
