@deziac I dropped out to more or less go back to what I had perceived as my home country and sign up for service (I was a real idiot). Good to hear you went better, though!

@deziac Seeings how I'm back in the States, it's a good guess. Though I did get my GED after coming back, as well as certifications later on to help me with my current job.

@deziac Auto mechanic, it's something I mention in passing but try not to because I realise it isn't in everyone's interest folder. That is stuff pertaining to the job.

@deziac Actually I'm looking into courses for electrician work. Plus really the job isn't so bad, just not the greatest idea for someone who considered car work a hobby before. Or gets bored with tedium very quickly.

@deziac My co-workers can be quite whiny most of the time, well a select few, but I generally ignore this part and they can at least perform their tasks. Kind of.

@awlpony The managers are what papaya me off. The fact they really do their jobs poorly and when I can find an easy solution and they refuse to listen is annoying but sadly part of the work world.

@deziac Sadly so, yes. Once in a while we get a new policy they attempt to ram down our throats concerning how we inspect vehicles. It doesn't bother me as I continue to do things the way I always have, just as everyone else does. Braggingly I like to say i'm the most efficient but that's bragging and not cool. Be cool and don't brag.

@deziac It was like that with me until I decided to better my chances of getting work that would keep me interested... well that didn't last too long but to be expected from a shop that doesn't let us do much outside of minor repairs.

@awlpony Yeah, sounds like what happened with my ex boyfriends job. He told him he would only let him stay if he quit college, I mean who does that????

@awlpony Well, there was many things wrong with my ex boyfriend, but that's a whole lot of talk for another time, lol. But I feel an employer who doesn't want his employees to learn and grow is a bad one. Oh, and after he quit school 3 months later he fired him.
