@mushi @weedlordhitler oh I see. So is a JRPG much different from a console RPG? is it like those ones where you choose how to respond and that determines the story?

@pony well, JRPGs are ususally a lot different from a western RPG, it has less interactitivity and they are usually simpler. And the excessive blood is replaced with coloful lights

@mushi @weedlordhitler interesting. I own a translated relationship RPG from Japan on DVD meant to be played on any DVD player. I'm guessing the formats for JRPGs are often DVDs?

@pony No, they're usually for consoles. Get any final fantasy and you'll see basically the archetype of a jrpg

@pony they are for whatever the media the console they are for run. But if you're a fan of western RPG you might find JRPG boring
