@vt3c @sunflowershimmer I think it might help if somepony were to sue the school and organizations in charge of doing it, but that would attract a lot of attention and be difficult for whichever student it revolved around. The publicity would hopefully garner public support for the student and their family, etc. As for reporting, I don't see that helping since they're not strictly breaking any laws.

@sunflowershimmer That's where I think the media has to come into play. Also, parents raising the issue among other parents and then ganging up on the schools etc.

@vt3c It sounded like you were leaning in that direction. Unless it explains why suing the school wouldn't work, I don't see why the system's lack of money should prevent justice and social reform. You don't have to sue for money either, just parent and student rights.
