@yodelerty You and I are much alike in this regard. There isn't much a nicer thing that nature can do in my eyes, than bring the winter in with snow and ice.

@yodelerty Eh, I had learned to drive in a sports car with crappy tyres in the wintertime and only got in two accidents. However, the right tyre does make much the difference.

@awlpony There appears to be a minor tear in the side of it. Probably from the small collision I had with the curb a while back. It seems to be holding but idk.

@yodelerty Well if it's holding air it's ok at least temporarily. But the side of the tyre is the weakest points of it due to it only being the outer rubber layer and a double layer of the ply. Do you see nylon in the tear?

@yodelerty The nylon rope would be the body ply, that means it's a deep tear and there really isn't much left at that point in it. I've seen them last for a good while when they have parts of the rubber taken out and even to the point you can see the body ply but it's better not to take chances.

@awlpony Alright, I'll keep that in mind. I'll probably be switching out to winter tires in a week or so so hopefully it'll hold until then.
