      @sprite @ryanjjjj I concur. If it's something dealing specifically with IE, then there is a strong chance of a browser hijack. I also recommend Malwearbytes. Avast is also good, and it provides a reliable anit-virus.

      @sprite well that explains the security issue :/ AVG is alright but 99.999917% of the time is malware and theres an even better chance that if it is a virus. that system is done :I MBAM is what i would use in the shop and currently use, its the real deal. that and combofix

        @ryanjjjj Combofix is legit. I personally detest AVG. It behaves more like a virus than a lot of hostile programs.

      @sprite ah, but thats the beauty of MBAM. its NOT an antivirus, its a malware scanner and the free version will work.

      @sprite im telling you out of experience as well as technical knowledge if you have a problem, mbam will fix it. if you dont believe me try it in safe mode, it will work.
