@yodelerty YOU'RE WRONG. Feel better yet? xD But really it sounds like you need to go volunteer at a soup kitchen or something so that you'll realize you're not worthless.

@yodelerty you have to make time if you want things to change. if not a soup kitchen then something else nice you can do for others. It turns your focus from you to others.

@pony That's true. I guess it would help to be around grateful instead of the customers I usually deal with at work.

@yodelerty that too, but even work that is thankless will help. In fact it may help more since, again, it forces you to focus on others. I miss volunteering at the hospital. I blame school fro keeping me from it, but really it's only a couple hours per week. Also, if you find a legitimate volunteer experience related to what you do you can put it on a resume

@pony I work retail and have no idea what my career will be so there's not much I can do volunteer-wise that will help I don't think.

@yodelerty then you're in luck because anything will look good on a resume as long as it serves people directly in any capacity, though maybe that's not what you need personally.. Maybe there's something in your area working with animals if you like that sort of thing, or maybe community cleanup. I dunno. Some people prefer to make entertaining Youtube content for others or do art to share.

@pony If I had any creative prowess you can bet I'd be making more YouTube videos. Haven't uploaded one in about a year.

@yodelerty I've been enjoying a great deal of catharsis through writing fanfiction personally. I'm really slow but meh. You don't have to be good at something to enjoy doing it in your spare time. Skill and creativity will come if you decide to practice enough.

@pony If I had any motivation to do anything at all, I would. As it is, I don't even have the motivation to shred receipts.
