@minti At one point I was going to make a bard subclass, the lazy bum, for ADnD. It would rely on charisma, intelligence and luck to succeed with the lowest amount of effort possible and no useful abilities.

@nerthos The class would have restrictions for secondary abilities, not being able to have any craft or marketable profession besides music and word related ones, to which it'd have a bonus.

@nerthos I really just want crazy high DC's on enchantment spells, having a DC 17 sleep at 1st level seems fun lol. Well, it'll be fun till the GM throws constructs and undead at me. xD

@minti You just have to carefully break the system. Also depends on your DM. The one with which I usually play when I'm with my friends sticks stupidly tight to classes, while I as a DM let players become walking gods as long as they're able to justify how they learned their abilities. For example if some dude is playing a mage and he has 14 str, a soldier friend who can teach him, and a couple months I'll let that character use martial weapons and heavy armor. Same with a barbarian with >12 int and mage friends for learning magic.

@nerthos My DM is kinda new, but he's lenient enough as long as I don't horribly break his campaign. For example: We were in a fight and I slept every single person in the fight with a sleep, he was like "DAMN IT GUYS" and pulled a deus ex machina and had a NPC find us and wake us up so we could coupe de grace the monsters lol

@minti Deus ex machinas are common when someone manages to kill the campaign. With my OP paladin I wanted to wipe out the royal family which was a major plot point of the campaign because to resurrect an evil god the baddies needed a member of it. By character strenght and resources I could have easily done it but the DM came up with excuses.

@nerthos Haha, but yeah. I'd honestly be surprised if you had problems speaking English, you're quite fluent at typing it out, all that's left is to learn the little exceptions to words that make no sense, like toward, forward, and reward. xD

@minti I totally just Googled the pronunciation poem for the 3 words on the end.

@minti I'm above average at written english by now but I have absolutely no practice speaking it. Whilst I know the pronunciations of most words, saying many of them in a row at a decent speed is not something that I can do as of now.
