    2. @rotation Lucky, I want some strawberries.

    3. @rotation I think the farms here in BC aren't making Strawberries anymore for this year. So I guess we're going to have to get California Strawberries now, which won't be very fresh because of how far away they have to come to get here.

      1. @pinhooves Solution: go to California.

        1. @starshine No thanks. I wouldn't like to live in hot weather almost every day. It's nice and cool here in British Columbia.

          1. @pinhooves Hot? Hahah, Cali is quite comfortable, at least the coastal parts. If you really want hot, try Texas or Florida or something.

            1. @starshine I've been to Florida. It wasn't too bad, although this was during December I was there.

              1. @pinhooves Try July. It's hideously humid.

                1. @starshine It scares me to even think about going there during the summer now.

            2. @starshine Hot? Try Singapore. 90F and humid all year long!

              1. @rpb3000 Hot? Try Kuwait. I stopped looking at the Fahrenheit side of the thermometer because it was 100 after dark. I will never know why they mounted a thermometer on a pole in full sun next to a reflective metal surface and above blacktop, but that thing was maxed out every day. You could probably bake a cake by putting it on the ground.

                1. @starshine *looks at climate data for Kuwait* Yeech, the AVERAGE high for August is 112F! At least it cools down Nov-Mar...

                  1. @rpb3000 But that's also the rainy season. The humidity goes way up then, and because there's nothing but sand there, the rain doesn't get absorbed into the ground, and it becomes a wonderful sandy soup.

                  2. @rpb3000 Also, I have heard rumors that they put the official climate-tracking thermometers in strategic locations in order to make the temperatures sound more reasonable. Dunno if that's true, but when I was out there, it sure seemed like it was a lot hotter than what the forecasts were reporting.

                    1. @starshine I'll stick to my densely-forested temperate climes, methinks.
