@flutterguy93 Their official statement, if you asked for one, would inevitably be that the episodes on YouTube were not legally posted and were in violation of Hasbro's copyright. Regardless of WHO took them down, they're obviously not going to say "we don't care" because that would put them in a position of actually confirming that they were not defending their intellectual property, and that is absolutely not what they would want to do. More than likely, they'll try really hard to sidestep the issue and probably suggest watching them on the Hub's website instead. (Personally I would love to see all the episodes available from there, instead of just providing one or two for streaming plus a bunch of little clips. That'd be their best option.)

I should probably make it clear that I have only barely skimmed the headline on EqD and read that one Facebook post from the screenshot. I just got here, so all that I'm saying is total speculation :)

@starshine This reddit's been where I've been getting info from (http://www.reddit.com/r/mylittlepony/comments/jmzsb/hasbro_is_taking_down_videos/). Whoever runs it just called in the big guns and e-mailed Faust.

@eaglehooves like she would (a) know anything about it, and (b) say anything about it. This is really not the sort of thing that I would expect them to say anything more than necessary about, because if their internal policy is "just don't look" and they reveal too much about that, they can kiss their copyrights goodbye if legal issues arise in the future for them.

@starshine I know she's not the best person to go to, but she is familiar with the fanbase, and she might be able to direct us somewhere. As for them wanting to say as little as possible, I get that too. They don't have to reveal their internal policy, though. Anything that doesn't specifically state "Yes, it was us, and it will continue" would be nice. Maybe some fake ignorance?

@flutterguy93 Yea, but she was a big influence, and she probably has connections. I wouldn't have picked her to e-mail, but since it wasn't me I just hope she'll point them in the right direction.
