@communistprime It will still be around in some permutation, most likely even BETTER! There's no way Tinker would give up on it, so... it'll be here. Thank you for serving, and I hope to see you there next year! :D
-
@loak You were missed! I'm not the only pony there who wished you'd been able to make it. Try for July!
-
@elision Ohhh, were you the Twilight raffle winner or the person who picked up the poster near the beginning? Either way, hiii!
-
@petalbasedweaponry Just keep moving forward! If there weren't big spans of time between our great days then they would be just another day. But I do wish you luck! :D

Okay, so... best weekend EVER! Not only did I attend BroNYCon from the night before until last night at 9PM, hanging out with endless numbers of cool ponies... Not only am I now officially Staff of BroNYCon, certain to be the biggest Brony convention on the East Coast forrreeeverrr... Not only did I just confirm I'm going to get the 2" Glittery Twilight Sparkle and Lily Blossom (looks very close to Derpy), leaving only Fluttershy to finish my collection... Not only did my piece "Nocturne" become a 6-Star Story on EqD... I ALSO just confirmed that within the next month I'm going to be getting a custom from AutumnAlone ( http://tinyurl.com/4xorq5b ): "Rainbow Dash the Wonderbolt (tri-color lightning bolt)" ... I don't have the energy right now for all the omigoshes and yesyesyesses that all this deserves. I hung my new lucky horseshoe last night, but I still have to put up my Twilight READ and Dashie AWESOME posters... Gosh. I'm so tired and my head hurts but it was so worth it. :D

Oh, jeez, there it is already. EquestriaDaily link to my completed Luna story, Nocturne: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/06/story-nocturne.html And now I'll shut up about this.

@versilaryan You asked me to poke you when Nocturne was done, so here you go! I hope you enjoy: http://tinyurl.com/6z3os5d
-
@nvrrmbr Eee, thank you for the interest!! It should be up on EquestriaDaily sometime in the next day or so, but in the meantime here's a direct link to Nocturne: http://tinyurl.com/6z3os5d
-
@drewdle Oh, nononono. I'd guess around... ~5000 words, and a lot of editing.
-
@nvrrmbr I wanted it done today! Gone, finito! And... it may take me overnight to recover, but I'll be fine eventually. *twitch*
-
I wrote for 12 straight hours today. But... it's done. 16,700 words. Apparently that makes it a large novelette according the Nebula awards... But screw them, they're never going to see it anyway! MY PONY NOVELLA IS COMPLETE!
-
My boss: "It BEHOOVES us..." Me: *sly half-smirk*
-
I had an epiphany today. I think I figured out a big part of why Luna is my favorite pony. You see, s--- USER WAS SENT TO THE MOON FOR THIS POST. Remember, everypony, your Sun Mistress loves each and every one of you. All Hail Celestia!!
-
@carcinopony ..... MAGIC.
-
@sprinklesky Meeee too. But on the plus side, I will lose my unsightly bulge just in time for the Summer Sun Celebration! Or not. One'a those.
-
@carcinopony /)^3^(\

@sprinklesky @carcinopony Hi! I'm okay, sprinkle, but I am doing SO well on my diet that a lack of carbs is making me mood swing. Not the most pleasant experience.
-
@sprinklesky I'm two days late, but... To kindness! Woo!
-
@redenchilada I just finished reading your friend's story. I'm really off my game right now, so this is going to be pretty pathetic, but relay this to your friend: --Remove the "theme song" part; the tone of the story is a bit too dark to be believable as an episode. --Re-do the paragraph spacing. Every time a new pony talks it should be a new paragraph, with a blank line between each, for readability's sake. --Having Apple Bloom stuck to Applejack's hip after worrying about her is really well done. So is the tension regarding Daisy Cream. --"Oh, hi. What do you want?" is pretty blunt/rude for Twilight to greet a random person, especially one that she's been seeing out of the corner of her eye all day. --The "back on the farm," "back in Ponyville" stuff should go. Find ways to do this without it being so blunt, like is already done in other paragraphs. --There's a lot of "show, don't tell" issues in here, like exposition that should come out in dialogue. But that's a LOT of re-writing.
-
@pinkiepielovescupcakes I don't even know! But it's pretty sweet! WOO~
-
@colfax ... You said a naughty word. :o
-
@pinkiepielovescupcakes I CAN FEEL THE LOVE. Also, hello. :D
-
@thecupcakinator Do you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Prance?
-
@redenchilada I can't explain why, but reading this made me burp.
-
@thecupcakinator Hay there!
-
@gentlegiant Alo guvnah!
-
@rexybr17 Today of all days I need a hug, so the sentiment is greatly appreciated!
-
@sprinkles That's above and beyond! Excellent. TO KINDNESS!

Why is it that when we pass by people so many of us casually avoid eye contact, so that we don't have to nod, or wave, or say hello? Even when they're an acquaintance or a coworker we do this day in and day out. What if... What if we were to look them in the eyes, smile, wave, and say, "Hay Mike! I hope you're having a good day?" and really mean it? You wouldn't even have to stop; just keep going, nice and casual, but really acknowledge the person you just saw, and give them a little injection of light into their day. I don't know about you, but that sounds like the kind of world I'd like to live in...
