@cypresswolf !houstonbronies David decided to head back after that as it was getting late, so I hit the convention again, wandering around until the unscensored voice actor panel started. Funniest damn thing, I won't tell ya'll what was spoken of, but for my fellow bronies over 18, come find me Oni-Con next year & and we'll hit that panel together ;). By 1 am, the alcohol and sugar rush was wearing off so I couldn't stay up for the other midnight panels. Found my way back to the hotel by 2 and woke up about 7, started packing up while getting calls from a coworker, Hugo & his son heading down to check out the convention. I checked out by 10:30 and headed up to the con to show them around, get their badges and hit the dealers room one last time for anything I may have missed. I couldn't find Saber Marionette so I decided to leave while I still had energy to do so. Damn near fell asleep at the wheel a couple of times...not sure why I'm still awake now...Sleep sounds fantastic!

I'm tired, I'm hungover, I'm still awake from getting only 4 hours of sleep since 3 AM saturday morning (don't ask how I got home) and I have at least a weeks worth of new anime to watch >^_^< Lets see if I can remember what I did last night....My cousin David & his family came to the convention, strolled through the dealers room for about 30 minutes, then went to the "How the hell did I get here" panel with...hell I don't remember, I can't find saturday's schedule, anyways, following that we hit Samuri Dan's samurai sword panel. That was cool. At about 5 my parents & Grandma came in to hang out. My Grandma's birthday is tomorrow so we celebrated it last night by going out to eat at Pier 22 - Fisherman's Warf. Great food there, has an old pirate ship on the harbor side moored to the dock. My parents & Grandma went home after that while David's Family & I hit the ghost tour. That lasted til 9:30 and we drove back to the hotel by 10...

@cypresswolf !houstonbronies What a day, What a day! I just got back from the ghost tour. Great stories! I've been up since 3 am and am running strong on pocky, alcohol, & oreos. I'll post more on my saturday tomorrow morning, right now I'm heading back to the convention for the uncensored voice actor panel and after that....O_O....Wait! There was a Halloween Brony Spectacular while I was out?!?! Well....crap! I can still make the end...Gotta Go!

@cypresswolf !houstonbronies Alright! Day 2 - I'll hit the convention searching for the art gallery to see if there is anything worthy of being added to my wallspace. Hit the dealers room for more anime. Then find a schedule and hit some panels before my family begins arriving around noon. Ghost tour tonight @ 7:30 right in front of the Railroad Museum - 123 Rosenberg - corner of Harbor Dr. & Rosenberg - 25th street. $20 for adults & $10 for kids, there's another one a bit more gruesome in detail starting at 8 pm right accross the street from the Railroad Museum. With that out of the way - Let's Oni-Con!

@cypresswolf !houstonbronies Also, I got some great finds in the dealers room, Strike Witches season 1, Tenchi Muyo Ryo Ohki, Ghost Stories complete series, & Dr. Tran dvd. ^_^ Saw a few Strike Witch figures but not the ones I saw online earlier, so I bought 2 figures - Linette Bishop Figma & Minna Dietlinde Wilcke. Can't wait to get those in, the other 2 aren't available yet, but are on preorder. I also bought $40 worth of pocky! I'll head back to the convention later tonight. I tried to look for some schedules for the weekend, but they weren't available yet. I don't know where anything is, but I'll find out by tomorrow. I'll try to make the concert in the opening ceremonies, cosplay contest, AMV contest and locate the viewing rooms. I got a note pad to write down any new anime series I spot that I like. Well, I'm gonna take that nap now. I'll post again as late as tomorrow morning.

@cypresswolf !houstonbronies Blah. I'm tired already. Just about to take a nap while the convention is still setting up. Saw a bunch of great costumes, 1 Applejack among them walking around the Dealers room. Lost her in the crowd before I could ask for a picture. Gotta share this one with ya'll. While waiting for the dealer's room to open, the escalaters right behind me, the one coming down stopped while a guy dressed as a Storm Trooper was just stepping on. Poor guy had to traverse the stairs in that armor. He made it fine, and the whole 1st floor watching erupted into cheers as he made the final step off the escalator. That was awesome!

@cypresswolf !houstonbronies Just checked the website for Oni Con. Dealers room doesn't open til 1 pm. Oh well, waking up early aside, check this out - This year the Oni Dealers' Room will be over 21,550 square feet of wall-to-wall awesome. Our new space is super upgade from last year's 9,000 square foot Dealers' Room. Enjoy the rare and unique finds you will make as you shop with vendors from all over the country. Any convention goer is sure to find something just for them! LOCATION EXHIBIT HALL B HOURS Friday - 1:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday - 10:00am - 8:00pm Sunday - 10:00am - 6:00pm -------------------- SO MUCH SPACE! Looking forward to the rest of the events, I'll bet that concert hall is gonna be huge! Maybe I can actually get into the concert this time around.

@cypresswolf !houstonbronies Friday has finally arrived and Im going through emails this morning. I got one from family sharing a site called J-List and I'm checking that out this morning before heading to the convention. I found some pretty nice Strike Witches figures...Catgirls with Guns!...What's not to like?! I'll be looking for that series while I'm out today. Got some rain here last night, still windy outside. I woke up early enough to catch the sunrise over the beach this morning. I got my camera ready! Let the anime festivities begin!

@cypresswolf I know there are larger g4 bases. I think my next custom I'll work with those. I still have a bunch of blind bags to practice sculting on. And with season 2 well underway, there are many new ponies to try out ^_^....I just need the patience.
