Ok what. Games are now starting in 800 x 600 mode. I should just reinstall Steam but at the same time I don't feel like redownloading 300GB worth of games back.

@nerthos That's whats kinda what I'm thinking too. Want to do professional work? Windows 7, Want a OS thats great for casual use? Windows 8. Though Windows 8 works nice with what I do (Gaming/Video Editing)

@northernnarwhal If you do I suggest you get a touch screen. Windows 8 is fine with using a keyboard and mouse but for the best experience it should be used with a touch screen.

@northernnarwhal Yeah, Windows 8 took a while for me to get used to. But once I learned all of the basic stuff I actually work more efficiently then I did in Windows 7. Plus Windows 8 is more pretty imo

@oracle Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1. In the process I had to wipe my SSD which means all of the registry info for my games are gone.
