@vt3c Yeah, according to the mechanic it's a thermostat. But the thing is that she won't know if there's a different problem because the light only will be appearing for the thermostat

@vt3c I'm worried my mom's car will soon have the same fate. She has bin driving with a check engine light for more then a year now.

@vt3c I didn't really pay much attention to what happened. All I know is that repairing it cost more then the car was worth plus the thing was all banged up, only one of the 4 windows rolled down, the fabric on the ceiling was held on by staples and the check engine light was always on. Last time I checked it had about 200K miles on it.

@vt3c My step-dad had a 1998 Civic and it lasted him 15 years, it died a few months ago. Now he drives a Subaru Crosstrek which will probably last him another 15 years.

@vt3c Same here, I find hardware more enjoyable to work with then software. Though if want to work in the computer industry it's nice to know software and hardware.

@vt3c It's because you are typing in some language that many people don't understand. People did that to me too when I was working on my website project during computer repair class.
