!abqbronies Sounds like a mile is doable for most people? Here's what I'm proposing-> Everyone tell me the time they think they'd get on a 1 mile run (Not your best time. Go try a practice run and time yourself). Then I'll generate staring times such that, if everyone runs the speed they reported, we'll all cross the finish at the same time (i.e. Miscelinous would start first and Bobmortis would start 8 minutes later so they both end at 14 minutes). The more accurate the time you report to me, the more fun the race will be. Then we'll plot out a course down in the bosque and have a t-shirt making party before the race.

@theangelofrazgriz, !abqbronies Well, I don't know about a marathon, but I could probably manage a 5k or a mile. If everyone can provide an estimated time, we could have handicap- staggered start times so that everyone crosses the finish line at about the same time. It might make it fun and competitive for those of us (like myself) who aren't great runners.

!abqbronies This is still a ways away, but the autumnal equinox (Saturday, September 22nd) would be an excellent day to have a Running of the Leaves Celebration. Any ideas?

@broniebrown Yea, I'm not sure why she wants all those spoons. I mean, her special talent is musically playing the spoons. But that just begs the question of why she chose that as her ability in the first place!

@hakupony lol. I was using it as short for "Ponies and Parasprites". I'm not enough of a gamer to enjoy rule-heavy games. 4th ed. D&D is too much for me. I need just enough of a system to make the story work.

@hakupony Well, P&P is a decent system. It's pretty simple and flexible enough that, as GM, I can make it do pretty much anything I want.

@hakupony Oh! I tried playing via skype with a friend. It worked ok but now she doesn't have an internet connection. So no, I don't but I am open to the idea.

@hakupony The steel was pretty cool. But with the rapid shift from the pastoral to the industrial, it was hard to watch and not think of it as a tragedy.
