@thunderdash oh! I was never aware of where they came from. I only saw them on a think geek. email newsletter and how they where unable to ship outside the USA. so now that I know this other information I may go and look for this portal gun.

@communistprime Everyone does, but some Operating Systems are just smart enough to have important drivers in the kernel, so you don't have to install a driver for every damn thing you plug in.
