ADB can't write system/data/bootanimation.zip when Cyanogenmod 7 running; writing in recovery has no effect; write to /data/local instead.

Nevermind, it booted up with the SIM card recognized.

It seems that I have fried my phone's SIM card contact - or just the SIM card - by cleaning the USB connector with a needle. o.o

Also finally got the wi-fi at home back on my phone! Except I forgot to charge it. And the charger won't stay in the micro-USB port anymore.
