@uthamairo They aren't left at a lower regard. It's just that they don't follow the same naming technique. I'm guessing it's so you don't confuse a male with a female. Also you don't really get into the dragon society until the third book

@uthamairo I don't know how to explain it really. When a dragon is born they are born without wings and don't get them for years. Until they get their wings the emphasis of their name is on the first vowel. After they get their wings the emphasis goes on the second vowel. And this is only for the male dragons (female stays the same) for instance the name of the main character in the first book is Auron when he is born and AuRon when he gets his wings.
