@awlelwa The problem is that those 7-8+ year majors would have probably resulted in me being a janitor for the rest of my life while having a student debt big enough to pass as a mortgage.

@awlelwa A couple of the people in some of my HVAC courses were people getting out of the automotive trade as well. I'm glad I managed to find an interest in HVAC after shying away from various other majors that piqued my interests (automotive, evolutionary biology, genetics, law).

@awlelwa Nnnope. :P There is a reason why I shied away from the automotive trade around a decade ago in spite of having an interest in it.

@awlelwa Yeah. It's one thing to go to a site and find a bad part you don't have (this requires returning later). However, it is quite another thing for a logistical thing like that to prevent you from doing something you can otherwise do with the equipment on the service van.

@awlelwa I haven't done anything like that so far. :P However, I did get a service call I had to pass onto someone else, as my commercial van is too tall to get into the parking ramp (it wasn't feasible to haul refrigerant recovery/recharging equipment a few blocks and then to the top of a ramp).

@metaltao I remember watching one of my younger brothers play one of the Hitman games a number of years ago. It didn't pique my interest that much. Then again, I have lost a good deal of interest in video games over the years.

@metaltao Admittedly, I haven't paid close attention to the lineup. Furthermore, I haven't even played a game in the [i]Fallout[i] series (if I started, catching up would use previous generation(s) technology).

Aside from Metal Gear Solid V and Uncharted 4, there isn't anything on the current generation's lineup that piques my interest.

@awlelwa I ended up using a warrior/mage hybrid type of character (I don't remember the exact class). I got a quick reminder of how irritating it is to carry around all of those repair hammers.

@awlelwa I replayed Oblivion some time ago, but I never got around to finishing the main quest. Furthermore, I haven't even gotten around to using my PS3 as a Netflix machine. :P
