  2. @redenchilada. I mentioned 3 films, so which two are you indifferent to? Just curious is all.

  3. Just throwing this out there, but am I the only one more excited about seeing The Amazing Spider Man and The Avengers than The Dark Knight Rises?

  4. To quote Max from "Mary and Max" (a personal favourite film of mine) "Why do they have bus timetables...when they never run on time?" Love it :P

  5. Waiting on a bus to take me over to my nan's until early Wednesday. I always do look forward to this, I must admit. ^^

  11. @woona Ah...right. ^^;

  12. @woona It wasn't meant to be an insult...sorry ^^;

  13. Been on a bus headed for Cribbs for a while, it takes an hour to ge there and an hour to come back. Such is the price to pay for wanting to get to the Games Workshop up there :P But I needed a day rider bus ticket anyway so I might as well make use of it.

  14. @woona Not gonna lie, but as odd as this may sound...that does actually make me feel better about learning slowly :)

    Sunday, 06-May-12 14:04:23 UTC from web in context
  15. @woona "Rules Workshop" is essentially a class where a staff member becomes a teacher of sorts and teaches you the rules properly, it's done inside a GW Store. Both of my local ones do it, but I've only done it at Cribbs up until now. And yes, I am enjoying it immensley, slow learning process for me though xD Both playing and painting. But yeah, only been into it for several months at this point.

  16. @purplephish20 Eugh, that must've sucked.

    Sunday, 06-May-12 13:20:53 UTC from web in context
  17. @scribble I'm asking because of how many fans seemed to be present during/after the meetup all in one place at the same time.

    Sunday, 06-May-12 13:20:22 UTC from web in context
  18. @scribble I don't follow football at all, but I'm assuming their local team had a big home game yesterday?

    Sunday, 06-May-12 13:18:54 UTC from web in context
  19. @purplephish20 I take it that it was loud on said train as well as crowded?

    Sunday, 06-May-12 13:16:54 UTC from web in context
  20. @woona Exactly. Quite a few people I've spoken to dislike the Cribbs store's manager for that reason, I still go there though for painting on a Saturday to socialise with the regulars, Rules Workshop on Sunday (today incidentally) and now Advanced Beginners on a Wednesday. I'm a novice as I've said previously xD

  21. Really hoping Newcastle Utd don't lose today, not because I neccesarily support them, but because my dad will be moody if they lose xD

    Sunday, 06-May-12 13:07:06 UTC from web in context
  22. @woona heh, sounds awesome. The staff of the Cribbs one mostly are, but the manager seems to hate it when people are just "hanging out" be it assembling or just chatting, even though Games Workshops are supposed to be hobby centre's :S I think the Britol store is more lenient and Cut and Thrust Wargaming (independent store here) are as relaxed as can be, and have tons of tables too.

    Sunday, 06-May-12 12:57:43 UTC from web in context
  23. @woona It's odd, they say "No eating or drinking" as a rule in the Cribbs one, but I've never once been told about it, I've been told more about assembling stuff when I shouldn't be :S It's odd.

    Sunday, 06-May-12 12:51:09 UTC from web in context
  24. @purplephish20 Seems like it's just me then, heh. (As far as this conversation is concerned)

    Sunday, 06-May-12 12:46:09 UTC from web in context
  25. @woona You're able to just up and play a game as and when you please? The Cribbs one is too small for that xD Don't think the manager would approve anyway (he's a bit murdock about people just. "Hanging out" in there) not sure about the Bristol one though)

    Sunday, 06-May-12 12:45:36 UTC from web in context
  26. @purplephish20 And I take it you don't have tinnitus either,even mildely?

    Sunday, 06-May-12 12:44:06 UTC from web in context
  27. @cavatina Ah...that explains it. The same can't be said for me...

    Sunday, 06-May-12 12:38:01 UTC from web in context
  28. @cavatina It happens regardless of the volume if you do it too much though, trust me...I know. (I didn't have mine at maximum volume and I still got it, but again midly as I can almost always mask it)

    Sunday, 06-May-12 12:35:56 UTC from web in context
  29. @woona Sweet ^^ Is it for any patyicular reason, if I may ask?

    Sunday, 06-May-12 12:34:21 UTC from web in context
  30. @cavatina You've listened to music for 2 days straight? How do you not have tinnitus? O.o. (Something I unfortunatley have,a mostly mild case of it, but still)
