@boris oh there were some people likely somewhere on the spectrum, not that many in officer school where you had to be a bit more sharp in general, then there were people who you wanted to be extra careful with in exercises with live ammo, not because of ill intentions but people who are careless and error prone

@reality @simsa01 most of the creeds I see posted are pro-flattening of the curve, instead of reasonably supporting the curve as needed to make humanity a embarrassment to any aliens that would be friends. you need merit to achieve anything. merit is a great thing that should be rewarded IF LEGITIMATE.
e.g. the stereotypical "white cishet male" slam feels like someone is watering a plant with a firehose, if you're an uninitiated member of that group.
stories of people not hired for being white, which while probably exaggerated, are along the same lines of cultural (e.g. political) "fit" at tech companies, which are in control of the vast majority of the current propaganda machine. make it feel strongly like a Borg hivemind memeplex - lower your cultures and surrender your borders, resistance is futile
all existence is futile, but I'm going to side with the non-hiveminds because I am not a hiveminder. -

@hakui @rw @augustus @somercet @aninouto the winter boots were quite heavy tbh, could probably use them as a blunt weapon, was nice to not have your feet freeze even when spending all day outside in cold temps, the regular rubber boots weren't heavy enough to make anything shake, your feet would just flop slide around in them, very uncomfortable.
