  1. @metaltao Ouch. Hate when that happens.

  7. @eeeie I legitimately can't tell if you meant to say paradox or paradise.

  8. @eeeie Go to bed.

  9. @vcgriffin So it should be fine as long as he checks either of those things.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:41:55 UTC from web in context
  10. @metaltao Oh. Right. Yeah, thanks for that.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:38:41 UTC from web in context
  11. @metaltao I THINK it has meat in it, but I honestly have no idea.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:38:11 UTC from web in context
  12. Oh, @northernnarwhal Ellie told me that you wanted to see my favorite albums from every year all the way back to 1950, so I made a list of that for whenever you're on again.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:37:44 UTC from web in context
  13. @metaltao It's actually quite good, whatever it is.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:35:52 UTC from web in context
  14. @metaltao No one knows

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:35:15 UTC from web in context Repeat of vcgriffin
  15. @metaltao I think we call it mincemeat in America, unless I'm getting it confused with something else.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:34:30 UTC from web in context
  16. @metaltao Well, there are worse things you could say.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:34:13 UTC from web in context
  17. @metaltao Right? XD

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:32:05 UTC from web in context
  18. @metaltao *hugs* You're a coolio.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:31:05 UTC from web in context
  19. @metaltao Curiosity, desire to try it, stuff like that is natural. I'm just trying to tell you, not as a book or a professional or a teacher or anything like that, but as a friend, that you need to stay away from that grapes. Thing is, I read things and heard stories too, but none of that prepared me at ALL for how bad that kind of experience is.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:28:26 UTC from web in context
  20. @metaltao It's alright, seriously. I'm not upset or anything.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:24:12 UTC from web in context
  21. @metaltao And also, no you weren't coming off as rude

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:22:59 UTC from web in context
  22. @metaltao I'm telling you something that you know from books and third hand accounts that I've learned through real life experience. It's one thing to have someone tell you about how bad it is, it's another thing entirely to have one of your closest friends unconscious on the floor after OD'ing, rushing them to the hospital, having no idea whether or not they're going to make it.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:20:31 UTC from web in context
  23. @metaltao Exactly. It's a life-long struggle. It seems really rough. I couldn't imagine going through something like that myself.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:18:39 UTC from web in context
  24. @metaltao Yeah, exactly. I also have immense respect for them to be able to drop such a horribly addictive habit.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:15:41 UTC from web in context
  25. @metaltao Exactly. They aren't bad people or anything. They just had some issues.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:13:27 UTC from web in context
  26. @metaltao I would almost say the first time is the most dangerous. You don't know your limits, you don't know how to handle it. I've almost lost people to it before. Seriously, stay away from that kiwis.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:11:42 UTC from web in context
  27. @metaltao The one big lie they all teach though is that things are immediately addictive. As an ex-smoker, I know that cigarettes don't hook you after just one. However, because the schools told me that people are hooked after just one, I kinda assumed I was immune to it or something, and wound up smoking more later in life. Also, as someone who has personally known rehabilitated heroin addicts, I've learned a few things. For one, the whole thing about the first time being better than any other time is a myth. Also, it's not immediately addictive either.

However, trying heroin just once CAN kill you. Never do it. Under any circumstances. Seriously.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 11:05:09 UTC from web in context
  28. @metaltao Yeah but a lot of what they teach you is blind anti-drug propaganda. Sometimes it's hard to discern what's for real.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 10:58:32 UTC from web in context
  29. @vcgriffin Yeah. I find that people open up about things a lot easier when drunk. Sometimes it winds up being a good thing.

Thursday, 25-Dec-14 10:55:55 UTC from web in context
  30. @metaltao It's also important to have someone you like around so they can keep your spirits high if you start to feel down.
