  1. @theawesomepony Once you have a working PC I suggest tethering it to your iPhone for internet or leeching from a neighbor or something. Having your own internet is wonderful, though. Fiber master race here.

  3. @theawesomepony If it works anything like normal ones type "/attach irc.irchighway.net" and then type "/join #" both without quotes. Also type /nick <nickname>

  4. @theawesomepony irc://irc.irchighway.net/#mylittlepony I don't use an iphone so I don't know what app you'd get, but I'm nearly sure you can find a free one in the app store. If you're connecting via a computer and don't want to DL your own client go here: http://tinyurl.com/MLPIRC

  5. @theawesomepony IRC is an old way of communication that stands for "Internet Relay Chat." It is still commonly used as the most primary way of "chatroom" within most communities. It's minimal in features as it's mostly text, but there are a few protocols that go through it like DCC which allow for file transfer. It's one of the best ways to talk to the regular members of a community. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Relay_Chat I see you're on your iphone and I believe you can find an IRC client if you search for it in the app store. !irchighway is the place I hang out with for talking ponies.

  8. @extremedash That was more of a joke, but I was saying it gives me a bit of pain when I do so I feel some real pain while reading it. Also I'm not sure what you mean by night terrors.

  10. @extremedash I don't really get a chance to remember dreams unless they're nightmares and when they are they're extremely interesting. The concept of dreaming has always been extremely intriguing to me and I'm sad that I don't get to remember dreams that much. It's quite dull. I'm also a big fan of grimdark, surreal things.

  11. @ponybis I was hoping for nightmares as I read it about an hour before I went to bed in the dark, but it didn't work.

  12. So I read the Cupcakes fanfiction yesterday and I liked it. My only complaint is Pinkie's character wasn't quite matched as well as it could have been and Rainbow Dash's bowels move too much. Other than that it was very interesting to read and I enjoyed myself in the end. I enhanced the experience by rubbing my sunburns during the more "painful" parts to give myself some small jolts of pain.

  13. @rainclop But then again you can't play MvC3 on the Wii.

  14. @rainclop I like how the Wii has the most good console exclusives. You do kind of have to wade through crap to find it, though.

  17. So I spent like 3 hours browsing around the neighborhood for nothing. I found some old electronics I totally would have bought if I didn't know my dad would just tell me "you don't need any more of this junk" when I got home. He's kind of right, but some of the old stuff interests me since it wasn't around when I was a kid. I also passed a lady holding an old Star Wars game toy I used to love. My dad sold it. Oh well.

  18. @ickus I've already done that to some extents.

  19. Anyways, I'm going to take advantage of the garage sale in the only positive way I can and scout the neighborhood for deals. Later, everypony.

  20. @madflavors The scene with the taffy-machine had me and my VoIP cracking up. I noticed, but I doubt it was intentional.

  21. @ickus I managed to let my dad keep a baton I still occasionally pick up and spin, but I think it's simply because of that. He won't let me keep the Play-Dough robot I played with when I was like 2, though. ;_;

  22. @ickus Yeah, I get you, my father says the same things, but it's not like I have boxes of crap lining the entire proximity of the household. It's still organized and looks nice and there are still plenty of things I'm willing to get rid of, but there are certain things that just illicit certain memories that I simply don't want to get rid of. And there are some things that my parents keep in the memory box that I could really care less about. I'm bothered that I don't get to pick and chose what matter to me.

  23. Today is a day I've dreaded for a while. No, not the rapture nonsense, but our Neighborhood Garage Sale. My father has gone through our entire house and decided to sell tons of everything. He's selling a lot of things that I'd rather not sell because I have a lot of sentimental value attached to them. He doesn't sell everything, but it seems like he gets to pick what things should matter to me and what don't. If I fear anything I fear losing memories the most and I am deathly afraid of forgetting about certain things if they are sold. It's really a stupid and illogical concept; if I were to have the opportunity to trade one of my copies of a game for the exact same copy of a game plus an extra I'd probably still decline because it's "my" copy of the game. I don't fully understand it myself, but the only times I've cried in recent history is when my dad got rid of our 50 gallon fish tank and our outdoor playset.

  26. @ickus "I watch it for the plot" is a very old term associated, or making fun of, rather, with people watching fanservice anime. Whenever we see pony-grapes we just yell "I WATCH IT FOR THE # " in my VoIP.

  29. @theawesomepony I don't understand how I implied you should screw off when I told you to talk to me like this in another location. I view this website as a "micro-blogging" site rather than a talk-to-people site. I like to keep content clean and organized and greetings are something I simply feel are unnecessary for this kind of environment. I apologize for making you angry, but you did overreact there.
