  1. @omni There are a lot of interesting people around here. I'll see if I can show up here same time every week day at least and exchange more witty banter with you all.

  2. @pony I could see that, though I'm drawn to think that this time it might be different.

  3. I was not expecting this to ever happen. And now that it has, I'm not sure what to think of it. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/02/we-dont-really-post-4chan-news-much.html

  5. @ceruleanspark !coderpony Brohoof to all my coding bronies out there. No matter what your language, framework, or environment may be, we all have that one thing in common: - Knowing that awesome moment when the pretty lines of code finally do what we were hoping they would do in the first place.

  6. @ceruleanspark !coderpony ASP.NET helps a lot for those with a more desktop oriented coding background. You still have to get into a lot of HTML and you can't get away with not knowing the basics steps of a page load, but the simple fact that it lets you do most of the heavy lifting server-side in friendly C# makes things easy to develop in. I've managed to put together websites with it even when I had practically no training or experience in developing anything for the web.

  7. @ceruleanspark I'm a traditional coder at heart; What can I say? I practically grew up on all that is C. I've started to get the hang of web-dev thanks to ASP.NET. It's a good thing there are people who can make easy sense of it all, otherwise we wouldn't have such a robust internet experience now, would we. :)

  8. @lyokotravels I've seen this one all over the net. Lauren Faust is 120% awesome. It's great to see her still involved even after stepping down officially from the MLPFiM team.

  9. !coderpony So here's an actual attempt to tag something. Greetings everypony. I'm here to share my my fellow coding bronies out there. Anyone else come to despise web development after actually getting into it and finding out just how convoluted the rules for developing a dynamic webpage really are?

  10. After so much classroom time learning the theory and art of procedural and object-oriented programming, web-development just throws a huge wrench into the lovely machine.
