After thorough testing and consideration, I have come to the conclusion that my Thinkpad X61is not nearly as good as my Intuos for digital painting. The differences in pressure-to-reaction are significant enough to affect my shading.

@sleepingautumn Simply put, just keep drawing no matter what. Dont get discouraged. Skill comes with practice.

@sleepingautumn lol, you sound like me. all it takes is practice, study, and persistance. Don't let the others intimidate you. let them inspire you instead. Take an aspect from a work that impresses you, and try to mimic or even surpass it. As Les Brown says, "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars."
