@tailstheripper Main thing to keep in mind is that she's been working probably close to 7 days a week since '08 when she got the show. that's a lot of work and she's probably burned out and ready to let someone else do all the heavy lifting. Her Consulting Producer spot will afford her more time to focus on the most important aspect of the show, the script, which is obviously the foundation for everything we know and love about Ponies. The artists will bring the rest to life. :)

@tailstheripper Yeah, I don't think it'll be as bad as everypony is making it out to be. She didn't use the best wording when describing her shift in position on her initial DA post. Now if we start having a major shift in staff on Season 3, then we can panic like Fluttershy.

@tailstheripper She's still there, but in a more creative control position. she hasn't jumped ship. Instead, she's taking care of the scripts and stories. Ponies isn't a one-person production team, and I think everyone there has more than proved themselves. They're sitting on pure gold right now, and I really don't tihnk they're going to mess with the forumula. Besides, she's done her portion already (the stories) and it's up to the artists, animators, and directors to put it all together, just as they did last season. I'm pretty sure things will be fine.

@haganbmj nah, I dont think it'll come to that. From what one of the animators said, it sounds like they're just putting derpy in for purely background visuals, but with a smidgemeter more attention than the other backgrounders.

@anathemicone With lauren's new position on the show, I think she did all that she could do. I sincerely hope that this change in position doesn't affect the quality any, especially after such an amazing 1st season.
